Class Group Photography for Public,
Private and Church Daycares & Preschools
Class Group Photos, also called Classroom Groups, are the perfect way to help students capture the memory of all their fellow young classmates for enjoying in the future. With our new digital technology, we can offer daycares either traditional titled or the new graphically enhanced class group portraits as a well received additional service during the school year that will also help raise funds for the school through added commissions from this extra sale.
Traditional Titled or New Custom Graphic Designer Group
Portraits - It's Your Choice! Commissions are available on group portraits and Group Photos can increase yearly commissions earned by the daycare or preschool with the increased sales generated from a classroom group portrait sale. All teachers always receive a FREE portrait of their own class or group and principals can receive a free copy of every class group photographed with our compliments. For most schools, classroom groups are done on a separate day from individual portraits, usually in late winter or early spring to help generate more sales for the school. A separate class group day will almost always result in more sales for the daycare, so that is worth considering. Very small schools and small daycares can sometimes choose to have classroom groups done on the same day as individual pictures if desired, and we can offer enhanced portrait packages that can include a special "memory mate" digital print with the individual portrait and their class picture all on one ready-to-frame piece. Depending on the type of group being photographed, schools may choose either our standard 5x7 in a folder or an 8x10 group portrait in an envelope to offer students. Memory Mates are 1-8x10 print with a 3x5 individual and 5x7 group together with special graphics and can either be a one-piece digital print or two prints in a special cardboard mount.
In daycare and preschool situations, Classroom Groups are almost always photographed on a pre-pay basis only. Students wishing to order group photos on class group photo day simply bring their order form (handed out a week in advance by teachers) and payment to the camera at time of photography where a volunteer helper collects all the orders right before the picture is taken. An average classroom of 13 daycare school students takes about 10 minutes to photograph as a group, and for school convenience and safety, we set-up in one fixed location (indoors normally or outside by advance request and weather permitting) and classes are brought to the camera by teachers using a set schedule determined in advance, so things move quickly and smoothly. After photography is completed, we provide the school a complete roster and accounting report showing what was ordered and collected. When final group portraits are delivered back to the school, they will be sorted by classroom and include an order roster with each class to make distribution quick and easy by teachers. School commissions are paid when final group pictures are delivered back to your school. Band, Sport Team and Club photos are handled in a similar fashion, but are usually done in the gym, band room, or on the sports playing field and individual player or club members can also be photographed at that same time using a pre-pay order form. Coaches also get a FREE team portrait for their group, and we can also help with player photos for programs or sponsor plaques.
