Portraits of children should be FUN for everyone involved! Students should enjoy the experience, as it will reflected in how they look in a portrait, and they should walk away from the camera feeling better about themselves. Parents should love them all, and the school should have a low-stress day that can be a profitable fund raiser as well, if so desired. Often complimented for his extreme patience and willingness to use some extraordinary measures when working with a child in order to get a great portrait, Eric happily jokes, laughs, gets silly, and even plays on the floor when needed to get "the" picture from a shy or withdrawn student. The kids love it, and he does not mind being called, "that crazy photographer" by the students at all, as long as it results in better pictures! Using family value based comments and upbeat positive attitudes, he will always strive to make every new child not only smile in front of the camera, but also feel special and better about themselves inside after their portrait sitting is over by boosting their self-esteem with positive reinforcement and comments during photography. Attitude can make a huge difference in how good a student will do during school pictures.
